Md. Rashadur Rahman
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET). My academic and research interests lie in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Information Security, and Information Systems. My research primarily focuses on developing intelligent and data-driven approaches for real-world challenges using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
I completed both my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering from CUET, achieving outstanding academic performance. I was awarded the prestigious University Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA among my graduating cohort and was nominated for the Prime Minister Gold Medal in recognition of academic excellence at the national level. My academic journey has been complemented by active research contributions, including publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences in the fields of machine learning, natural language processing, and applied artificial intelligence. Furthermore, I actively contribute to the academic community as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Alongside my academic responsibilities, I am involved in institutional and administrative activities that support student development and digital skill advancement. I am committed to fostering a research-oriented learning environment and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of computer science.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy playing cricket and badminton, as well as gardening, which provide a refreshing balance to my professional life.
